    Description

    A single mantle Coleman lantern model 242, date marked on the bottom " 2 / 10  ", October of 1932. This is the first of the 242 model series. When tested it lit easily and burned steady with no problems. The nickel plated brass fount has some corrosion damage to the plating, no dents, the pump is original. The ventilator has some chips, no dents, missing the top-nut. The globe is a glass 1960's replacement of the original mica. A very scarce model. Because of recent problems with the USPS delivering Retail Ground packages in a reasonable time, this will be shipped Priority Mail in the U.S. unless otherwise requested by the buyer.
